Service Terms and Conditions

By scheduling or booking cleaning services with Trent’s Cleaning Company through our website, phone, or other communication methods, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not proceed with booking our services.

Booking and Confirmation

Submitting a booking request online does not automatically guarantee a reserved appointment. All bookings are subject to confirmation by Trent’s Cleaning Company. A confirmation will be sent via phone, email, or text message once the appointment is approved.

To secure a scheduled cleaning appointment, a $70 deposit is required. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your cleaning service. The deposit is non-refundable but will be credited to your final balance.

Cleaning Team

Depending on scheduling needs and the size or condition of the home, cleaning services may be completed by one cleaner or a team of cleaners. Our goal is to maintain consistency with technicians while also ensuring our staff are properly trained and available to meet client needs.

All cleaning technicians working with Trent’s Cleaning Company undergo screening prior to working in client homes.

Right to Decline or Stop Service

Trent’s Cleaning Company reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time if a situation poses a safety concern to our staff. This includes but is not limited to:

Unsafe or threatening environments

Presence of weapons

Severe clutter or hazardous conditions

Utilities that are not functioning

Unsanitary conditions beyond the scope of residential cleaning

If service must be declined upon arrival due to conditions not previously disclosed, a cancellation fee may apply.

Preparing for Your Cleaning Appointment

Cleaning rates are based on the assumption that our team can focus on cleaning tasks. Clients are encouraged to tidy personal items to allow access to surfaces such as floors, countertops, and tables.

If you would like our team to organize or tidy these areas, please notify us prior to your appointment as additional time and charges may apply.

Optional Add-On Services

Additional services may be available for an extra fee, including but not limited to:

Interior window cleaning

Blind detailing

Baseboard detailing

Washing dishes

Cleaning inside kitchen cabinets

Cleaning inside ovens

Cleaning inside refrigerators

Garage sweeping

Patio cleaning

Carpet cleaning or washing

These services must be requested in advance so adequate time can be scheduled.

Pets

We are happy to work in homes with pets. However, for the safety of both pets and cleaning technicians, we ask that pets be secured or supervised during service.

If a pet behaves aggressively or presents a safety concern, our technicians may leave the property. In such cases, our cancellation policy may apply.

Pricing and Service Adjustments

Cleaning prices are estimated based on the information provided at the time of booking. If the condition of the home requires significantly more time or effort than anticipated, pricing adjustments may be necessary.

If an adjustment is required, we will attempt to contact the client before proceeding. If we are unable to reach the client, the appointment may be rescheduled and a cancellation fee may apply.

Trent’s Cleaning Company also reserves the right to reassess service rates when necessary to maintain service quality.

Payment Policy

A $70 deposit is required to reserve an appointment.

The remaining balance is due on the day of service and may be paid by cash, check, or credit/debit card unless otherwise arranged.

Satisfaction Policy

Our goal is to provide high-quality cleaning services. If something is missed during your cleaning, please notify us within 24 hours of service. We will return to address the issue at no additional cost.

Refunds are not issued once services have been completed.

Recurring Service Discounts

Discounted pricing for recurring services applies after the first cleaning appointment. If recurring appointments are skipped or service frequency changes, pricing may be adjusted to reflect the new schedule.

Rate Adjustments

Service rates may be updated periodically due to factors such as:

Changes in service frequency

Home size changes

Remodeling or additional furniture

Increased occupancy in the home

Annual price adjustments may occur and will not exceed 8% of the current service rate unless otherwise communicated.

Lockouts

Clients must ensure that cleaning technicians have access to the home at the scheduled time.

If our team cannot gain access to the property and we are unable to reach the client within 20 minutes of arrival, the appointment will be canceled and a $70 lockout fee will be charged.

Rescheduling and Cancellations

Because we reserve a specific time for your appointment, we require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a $70 cancellation fee.

Security Systems

If your home has an alarm system, please provide clear instructions and any necessary codes before your scheduled appointment. Trent’s Cleaning Company is not responsible for lockout fees caused by incorrect or missing alarm information.

Use of Client Equipment

If clients request that our team use their vacuum or cleaning equipment, Trent’s Cleaning Company is not responsible for maintenance issues, damage, or malfunctions associated with that equipment.

Cleaning Products

We provide our own cleaning supplies and equipment. If you request that we use specific products or products you provide, Trent’s Cleaning Company is not responsible for any damage resulting from those materials.

Services Outside Our Scope

We do not perform the following services:

Mold removal

Biohazard or bodily fluid cleanup

Hoarding cleanup

Cleaning litter boxes, animal cages, or waste areas

These tasks require specialized cleaning services.

Safety and Access Limitations

For safety reasons:

Cleaners will not climb higher than a standard step stool.

Cleaners will not move objects heavier than approximately 35 pounds.

Outdoor cleaning and hazardous areas are not included.

If cleaning behind heavy furniture is requested, the client must move those items prior to service.

Damage and Breakage Policy

While we take every precaution to protect your home and belongings, accidental damage can occasionally occur.

If damage occurs during cleaning, please notify us within 24 hours so we can address the issue appropriately.

Trent’s Cleaning Company is not responsible for damage resulting from:

Normal wear and tear

Improperly installed items

Unstable furniture or décor

Undisclosed fragile or valuable items

Clients should notify us of valuable or delicate items prior to cleaning.

Arrival Window

Due to scheduling and travel between homes, exact arrival times cannot always be guaranteed.

Appointments are scheduled within a service window between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. While we strive to arrive close to the scheduled time, delays due to traffic, weather, or previous appointments may occur.

Clients will be notified if our team is running late.

Holidays

Trent’s Cleaning Company does not provide services on the following holidays:

Independence Day

Thanksgiving Day

Christmas Eve

Christmas Day

New Year’s Eve

New Year’s Day

If your scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday, we will contact you to reschedule.

Severe Weather

Service may be suspended during severe weather conditions for the safety of our staff. If local school districts in the Ellis County area close due to weather, cleaning services may also be postponed.

Key Handling

Client keys are securely stored and labeled using a coded system. Only authorized management personnel have access to client keys.

If a client chooses to leave a key outside or in an unsecured location, Trent’s Cleaning Company cannot be held responsible for theft or property damage.

Keys will be returned within 48 hours after termination of service or upon request.

Non-Solicitation of Employees

Clients agree not to directly hire or solicit Trent’s Cleaning Company employees for private work. Our team members are trained and employed through significant investment of company resources.

Governing Law

These terms and any disputes related to services provided by Trent’s Cleaning Company shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Changes to Terms

Trent’s Cleaning Company reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available through our website or upon request.
